Celebrated pianist, teacher, workshop leader and composer David Nelson is as renowned for his classical playing as for his jazz performances.

His jazz playing combines the virtuosic brilliance of Oscar Petersen, the instinctive lyricism of Bill Evans and the driving rhythms of McCoy Tyner with his own immediately distinctive style, and has received great acclaim both as a solo performer and with several ensembles. Hear Dave play.
